CHARACTER'S
Captain Alec Winter
Alec is the hero of our story. He's a highly decorated and experienced military operator, although most of his career has been classified. Driven by a sense of duty and honor, he'll stop at nothing to protect those that he loves.
Emily
Emily is Alec's anchor and the love of his life. From the moment Alec meets her, he knows that Emily is a strong woman. She won't hesitate to throw herself into a dangerous situation for Alec and even untrained she manages to stay calm in the most chaotic situations.
Aleric
When very young, Aleric is very stubborn, rebellious and even sometimes cruel. He dedicates himself to his combat training by his father and uncle, and also excels in weapons and hand to hand. When he's older, Aleric is disconnected from his father and the only thing he truly cares about his making him proud.
Ashlee
Ashlee is Alec's twin sister. She's been missing since the start of the storm and presumed dead. Ashlee is a trained orthopedic surgeon and passionate about helping others. She and Alec both are not complete when they are separated. Ashlee gives herself up to sacrifice because she believes her brother are dead.
Rider
Rider is an officer in the Air Force and trained in counter surveillance. The rest of his background and intentions are mostly unknown. He leads an army of mutant soldiers against Alec to try and take the compound. His power limits are also unknown.
Joe
Joe is a hateful and dangerous individual. From getting Alec voted out of the compound to showing aggression towards Mya and Emily, he doesn't hide his true intentions. He's already a monster even before Rider forces the mutation upon him. His evil nature will hurt Alec more than anyone else in the story.
Mya
Mya is the heart and soul of the series. Even before her change, Mya protects Alec and watches over him. After her change she becomes the guardian of Alec and Emily's children, and her power limit is unknown.
Lieutenant Brian Williams
Brian is Alec's adopted brother and best friend. Following Alec in his military career and training make him the perfect companion for the end of the world. When together, Brian and Alec are an unstoppable duo. Like Alec, he'll do anything to protect his family.
Emiry
Emiry is the opposite of her brother at a young age. She's compassionate, and always worried about others even when being bullied. While she also excels in weapons and hand to hand combat, her greatest strength is her mind. Eventually it's her that helps Alec discover the mysteries of the Nan-ite's.
Brooke
Brooke and her two sisters are rescued by Alec from a brutal death. She quickly develops feelings for Alec and even though he doesn't return them, she follows him wherever he goes just so she can return the favor of rescuing her.
Jake
Jake is a man of opportunity and hungry for power. When Rider is removed from the picture he quickly tries to take over the mall and assert his leadership. Alec doesn't trust him from the beginning and shows no remorse when he follows through with his promise of sticking a knife in his throat.
The Man With His Boot On The World
The main antagonist of the story and shrouded in mystery. From a voice over the radio to a masked man peering down at Alec, their eventual meeting will decide the fate of the entire world and the Winter bloodline.
